PYP IB Exhibition!
What?
IB Exhibition is an action based project that is student led. Students will be asked to identify a local problem that could have global connections and implications. After selecting their topic, students will set out, with teacher, parent, and mentor assistance to create a plan of action to start resolving the problem. After the beginning work is done, students will take that action into the community in someway, and report back on it at our annual IB Exhibition Day presentation.
-Some examples of ideas our students came up with: hunger, homelessness, animals, litter, and more!
Why?
As an IB school, we have instilled the IB Learner Profiles and Attitudes within our students for the past 5 years. This action project allows students the chance to showcase all they've learned about what it takes to be a good citizen in a project they design and implement individually or in small groups.
When?
Stay tuned for the date on this year's exciting project!
Where?
-Our 2018-2019 IB Exhibition will take place at Blythe Elementary, though the specific location is TBD at this time.
Who?
Blythe staff, students, parents, and mentors will work to ensure the project gets completed.
***Parents, you can help by taking their child to volunteer, or help in the way they choose when possible!
