Transportation Changes:Transportation changes MUST be sent in any time your student will be traveling home a different way than usual.
Acceptable notices include: -Hand written notes given to the teacher by your child. -Emails sent to Jennifer Hankins. -Please do not ONLY email your child's teacher, as they are unable to check their emails during the school day, and the email may be missed. -Phone calls to Blythe Elementary at (980)-343-5770. -Another format your child's teacher has made available to you. Monday Folders:Your student will be given a red, Monday Folder at the beginning of the school year. This folder is sent home with graded materials, updates, and information for you EACH Monday. Please ask your student where their folder is to ensure you are able to stay up to date on their work and progress!
PowerSchool Parent Portal:Please contact our front office to obtain the login information for PowerSchool's Parent Portal. This will allow you to check your child's grades at home, and stay up to date on their work and progress throughout the school year.
Here's a fun tip-- if you can't get to the office or have trouble logging in, your student can login to their NC EdCloud account and pull up their gradebook for you! |
